Solid show
Great sounding Fall 72 show, thank you Mr. Charlie. As noted in another review, the last two songs are from an aud source that is not on par with the rest of the show, lots of tape warble.

Why do I attach meaning?
To my birthday show? Just like any other day. Anyway, I am glad to see it here and this is the day I came into this crazy world. Thanks to the people who made it possible. No not my Mom and Dad (love you Mom and Dad), but to the people who made this recording possible. And also to Mom and Dad!

Thanks!
Great job as always, Charlie. I love fall of the '72, and these are some heavy hitters. Really cool china -> rider, playin, he's gone, bird song, and of the course truckin -> other one > sugar magnolia. Cant wait to hear the next Charlie Miller remaster!

Thank you
There are only a few shows that are as much of a pleasure as this gem. You could not ask for anything more considering this hasn't circulated. This tour is where Grateful Dead were fantastic.

Thanks for sharing!
Decent recording of a mixed performance. Technical problems with the monitors throw the band off during the first third of the show, which makes it hard for them to find their groove. China Cat is way too slow - Jerry just got the tempo wrong on the intro. Something is wrong with Bob's guitar on this track also. Things improve dramatically after that and the rest of the first set is pretty good.
There are more issues with the recording than the notes indicate. Keith is very low in the mix until the last few tracks of the first set. Both sets fade in on the first track. All of Sugar Magnolia and One More Saturday Night are distorted AUD that I don't think needed to be included, though I guess it's nice for people that want the complete show.
The rest of the recording sounds great.

Can't go wrong with '72....
....and this stellar showing by the Boyz is a prime example of that notion. Outstanding, eclectic setlist....and spot on execution. Stellar sound. This recording is 43 years old? Could've fooled me....
